Well…the title says it all pretty much; just speak out your opinions about how you would like the whole system to work and what should be inside the system. Since topic is very broad, please decide between yourselves on what you would like to debate on.

P.S.: Please give well thought out explanations and arguments.
P.S.S.: Please, bring in only the topics that feel like they are still in question.

To make me happy all i need is 4 things:

1) All five major villages to be playable at release. i.e leaf, mist, sand, cloud, rock.

2) skill based combat, not point and click. i know you guys have already said you're going to make the combat skilled based, but i still don't know how you're going to achieve it.

3) Open world, free roaming and open world pvp. Fight anyone at anytime.

4) To be able to have dragons as a summon ^^ (toads and slugs just aren't cool -_- )


Thats all there needs to be to make me a very happy person. oh and for the game to actually be released lol. speaking off, what ever happened to that update video...

i want that video update too, and i think having all 5 villages at release will only delay it , i think its okay to have Sunagakure and Konhagakure at release at least , and all cool :v

All I want for Christmas is this to be a more team-based game. It'd discourage people from going rogue as it'd be easier to find friendly people in your village who are willing to team up, and it might set up that situation of taking out a 4 man team alone that everyone seems to be going for.

And iunno, maybe it'd make the community friendlier?

I want a dynamic Naruto game.

By dynamic, I mean just interesting and fun, long lasting, and different. A dynamic combat, that jutsu exp thing, summons, roaming, mini games. I just want something that I wont get bored of.. asking for a lot huh? Most MMOs I play for a couple months, quit, then find another. I just hope this one wont let me down..

If you mean constantly having events to go one after one, it's possible...it just takes a lot of time coming up with events that would be misleading (kinda like fillers are. idk how to explain it better, but that's how GOOD events make players paying the game).

Perhaps make it so Rp is naturally implemented. FOr example Jutsu Online for those of you that dont know is a private wow server moded to look like naruto, yet depends on the players rp skills.


If the game incorporates many aspects of the anime then there will be no need for players to rp simply because playing the game will be identical to rping.

I was thinking that maybe on chat there could be an Rp mode and an OOC mode.Or something like that.Just so you don't always have to be in RP mode.

RP is good coz imagine that you are in village and some stupid player throw to you fireball without reason just because he is bored... Im for RP too

But please release the alpha with the skill based pvp system... I dont want the alpha with many NPCs or buildings or villages or events just give me character jutsus and the new PVP system Smile I want just 3 things

Well most people would want to Roleplay in game, and others wouldn't so it would make sense to have a Roleplay chat and OOC chat.It would mean people who want to roleplay don't have to use the main chat and would mean a lot less confusion.
Also I'm quite sure it would be stupid not have any chat at all >.>

I guess I might as well take a stab at it;

  • Teamwork: I never understood why MMO's don't encourage this more. In my experience I usually just end up "soloing" my way through most of a game and I only ever join up with a squad if I absolutely need to. You shouldn't be teaming up out of necessity, but to have fun. You could grant special bonuses for teams completing a "mission" [I don't know the quest system?] or more experience could be awarded if a group of people all contribute a certain amount of damage to the same foe. Another way to encourage teamwork are team-based jutsu or combo jutsu. As an example, a player uses a fire jutsu and another player uses his air jutsu in combination, strengthening the first jutsu. Another example would be a water jutsu that soaks a certain amount of the surrounding area in water, allowing for strong lightning-based jutsu within that space. [I don't know how possible this is to achieve]
  • Dynamic Combat: This seems to be a want from a lot of people here. When I play an MMO I don't want to play the UI, I want to play the game. I want to see what is happening on screen and react to it, not just go through a series of skill rotations over and over while standing still. On the other hand you have to limit it in some way. You have to find a good sweet-spot for this, or you risk having fights where the players themselves don't know what they're doing other than keymashing, running around and using abilities hoping to get a hit.
  • Class System: The generic "Holy Trinity" class system should be abolished. I shouldn't have to team up with someone simply because they play the class our group needs. Everyone should be interdependent and have a small set of skills in each skill section. You should be able to "tank", deal damage and heal, if only just a little. [Obviously, some classes would be more focused in one section than another] Again, I'm not really sure about which way you're going with the class system, or if there will even be any, so this may be a pointless rambling.
  • Gear: While gear is important, it shouldn't be the governing factor of who wins and who loses. Building your character well should be important, but it should only grant you a slight advantage over an opponent.
  • Grinding: There is nothing worse than grinding. Nothing. A player should never be forced to grind in one area just to level-up [I don't know if a leveling system will be in the game, or how it will work if it is, so this point may not apply]. Having one "boss" who drops a certain piece of clothing with a 0.0001% chance of dropping it also encourages grinding. I shouldn't have to defeat one opponent 100 times just to get what I want.


That's about all I can think of right now.

What i think is important for now:

-> All 5 villages available to play.
-> For now not Open PVP, people need test skills and it could be hard if exist many bugs and we get killed easy because of that.
-> 2 Raids to test PVE System.
-> At least two clans per village
-> 3 Classes Available, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu.
-> A good Village Chat.
-> Chunnin and Jounin Exams.
-> 5 elements of chakra.
-> Skill Tree.
-> A Good Char Creator.

In general i think it for now need stuff no to play but to test everything possible in short time.

What i think can w8:

-> Healling Ninja Class
-> Guild System
-> Secondary Villages, and NPC Villages. (Rain, Grass, Rise, Snow Villages and other invented villages in the country only to have missions).
-> Open World PVP (thats my idea and im just saying to w8 to put in the game, is hard to do and need time to fix all bugs)
-> Some secondary Clans can w8 too ...

In my opinion who should be able to build our character

From what i have heard there will be no levels in the game.
However i disagree with the point that people should be able to tank, deal damage and heal. Those factors shouldnt even be in the game. Or else it will be similar to all other mmos. In naruto not every squad has a healer or someone who takes alot of damage.
to specialize in either nin gen or taijustsu while being able to use the other 2 but not to the same extent. Or maybe only be able to use 2 or one.

Another thing i want to bring up is since this game is skill based im assuming we will have to fight based on our opponents. I want to see a game where each fight depends on the opponents abilities and not using the same strategy for each fight.
My last comment is one ive been dying to know but probably will not receive a verified answer. If there is no leveling up will everyone have the same amount of chakra and health or will there be ways to improve it? and what will these ways be. In other games its gear and roles that do this but if this game is skilled base that cant be the case because then it would be gear based. So how will we be able to improve our characters natural abilities if we can?

I agree being able to have maybe ninjutsu as main then taijustsu as your secondary would be good.

we do need a primary and secondary thing like that.

Also dont do it so people pay to win/selling ingame items for real money or people will leave fast.

make it so its fair for everyone, mant games do pay to win and dont get half the people they could because of it.

world pvp is a no at the start, arena or planned pvp where the player chooses too should be in for the first few weeks or even months until people are comfotable to start pvping.

For create a character, I think you should choose one of the three classes:

Genjutsu specialist: You can stun your enemies and lower their stats. Your 35% more immune to genjutsus and can master them in half the time a regular can shinobi does. You can also carry more genjutsus at a time.

Ninjutsu Monster: You can master ninjutsus in less time than most ninjas. Applying your nature transformation comes easier to you.

Taijutsu Specialist: You have hand to hand combat on your side. You are 10% faster, more agile, and 20% stronger than every other shinobi. You can add chakra in your attacks and can open some gates when your health is low.

If you choose one speciality, you can still use the others...

Idk, its just an idea, Im still iffy about it but I wanna know what yall think.
